Sorry, im not a follower of this blog in particular, but i just wanted to say that i enjoy reading your posts on both news24 and Sowetan live. You have a good head on your shoulders, and i just wish that other forumites/bloggers would adopt your attitude of trying to take this country forward without all the bullshit inbetween.

One man one vote in my opinion is not democracy, especially in a country with so many groupings, nations and races.
Democracy can only exist in countries with a population of one such group or nation, therefor my contention that RSA will never work as it is now. Real freedom (democracy)means one nation in one country.

white-southafrican - 'One man one vote' is something I would fight for, and I have had many a heated discussion about people saying things like, only people who pay taxes can vote. The same thinking that brought on the french revolution.
We are divided, for sure. But I do believe that the people on the ground will soon rise up against the self-serving, money-loving hyena's in the ruling party. As the ANC is responsible for much of the racial divide we have.
Someday we will be 'one nation'. In my opinion.
